About

Found of marine mammals evolution and anatomy, I did my PhD at the Paleontology Dpt of the MNHN (Paris, France). My research was focused on understanding the evolution of baleen whales based on their skull anatomy, and using phylogeny.
I have been a guide at the MNHN for various publics to present the evolution of the earth and life. My interest as a guide was also to share knowledge about biodiversity and associated themes.
I have worked at the MNHN central library on the patrimonial pictures database. My activity was focused on the zoological part of the database, in identifying the original illustrations.
Fluent in english, and willing to use my backgrounds and knowldege of the MNHN, I have been recruited at the Collections Dpt of the MNHN in 2007, as Manager of european scientific programmes such as SYNTHESYS (http://www.synthesys.info/).
Willing to engage more concretely into communication within the world of Sciences, I have taken a Master of Communication at the Sorbonne (Paris), and I am currently preparing my Master's thesis. This work is fucosed on bringing tools and assistance to researchers in order to help them engage more easily into communicating with publics and with science community. My goal with this study is to bring potential communication keys to the EU to attain the FP7 objective "Science IN Society".
